ONNICAR was born in 1969 with a “mission” that is still far-sighted and strategic today: producing conversions for commercial vehicles ENTIRELY IN STRUCTURAL ALUMINUM ALLOYS.
The founder Guido Francone already knew how to exploit the ALUMINUM characteristics of LIGHTNESS and RESISTANCE TO RUST, in an era in which heavier materials were favored, thus responding to the market demands for STRENGTH and DURABILITY.
The farsighted and winning choice of the use of STRUCTURAL ALUMINUM ALLOYS was carried out by the founder’s daughter, Laura Francone, with whom a long period of great growth began for ONNICAR, based on CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT OF PRODUCT and on RESEARCH OF QUALITY.

In 2017, ONNICAR became part of the French group GRUAU, European leader in conversion of vehicles for professional transport, broadening the horizons of growth for both and enriching the galaxy of Gruau conversions with BODIES, TIPPER AND BOXED VANS in STRUCTURAL ALUMINIUM ALLOYS.
Onnicar shares together with the whole Gruau Group projects and strategies to achieve new goals together and open up to both new opportunities and new paths, increasingly animated by innovation, by the desire to offer targeted solutions to customers and, above all, by the awareness of having a great past.
